I wish there were pictures that captured the full experience. But we could not be prouder of our students in grades 5-8 who conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, curiosity, and respect while participating in this year's MLTI conference at the University of Maine-Orono.
Our 5th through 7th graders in particular lead a total of six presentation sessions throughout the day, speaking to and teaching a grand total of approximately 300 students and adults across all presentations on topics like robotics, 3D printing, and video editing.
The response was overwhelming: kids and adults from around the state who interacted with our students were impressed with their confidence, poise, and speaking abilities in front of large groups of strangers. It truly was magical to see two fifth graders, for example, excited about leading a presentation in a real college lecture hall.
